There are enough areas to explore and enough character classes to keep you busy. You can raise pets to fight with you (or just to accompany you on your adventures, if you so choose).
A set amount of skill points is not an issue with this game. You can unlock and upgrade as many skills as you like because you earn points through grinding (so there's actually some point to it other than leveling)! It can get a little grindy, but that's a trait of most MMOs.
The graphics are also quite good for a free game.
